2008/01/12 Just so you know, I'm rather BLIND without these, so I thought I take them off and paint them with impaired vision, which is why they look this way.

2008/01/10 Found this "rock" in a little stream that runs through our property. I was not able to capture the sharpness of it, so it looks more like a sponge. *sigh* But I do think it is still kinda cool looking. Any thoughts on how to sharpen the ridges?

2008/01/08 This is not an original composition. I stopped by the library today and came home with a few drawing related books. This exercise (doubling as an EDM challenge) is from Pen & Ink Techniques by Frank Lohan.

2008/01/08 A friend gave me the mouse shaker and I picked up the cheese separately. I do have a small collection of animal shaped shakers and toothpick holders. No doubt you'll be seeing more of them.

2008/01/06 I collect animal shaped egg cups (among other things). I'm not a raving collector, I just pick them up as I come across them. I worked harder at my shading this time. It is obviously going to take practice to become better at it!

2008/01/02 Challenged myself: cloth, texture and metallics (ok..."cheated" on the metallics with the gel pens). This little bag accompanied the amber choker (EDM#8) Watercolour, pencil crayons, gel pens.
